Named for the infamous and fearsome blue skinned hag, The Cailleach, an ancient giantess... some would say Goddess, and She would no doubt agree!... of the Celtic Isles!
Her sock yarn has a much character as She herself... It is Soft, but Strong... Oh So Strong and Resilient!... and a little hoary... as in, it has a wee bit of a halo from the Kid Goat Mohair.
The Cailleach did a LOT of walking about as She created the rocky lands of Scotland and beyond, and no ordinary sock yarn would've served to keep Her feet warm and comfy as this one does! But, do not stop at socks... How about a nice warm shawl, which is both lovely and useful, or a hat and scarf set!

* A 100gr skein with 438 yards
* Weight: #1 Superfine, Sock, Shawl, Fingering weight
* Hand dyed with color-fast acid dyes
* Hand or machine wash on gentle, cold water and dry flat.
